Welcome to Luminary Care Services

Luminary Care Services provides specialist residential care for young people between the ages of 16 and 18.

Most of these young adults are in the process of leaving the care system but may not be ready to make a full transition into living independently.

Our home delivers a holistic support package – we believe this optimistic and pragmatic framework will help us to assist the young adults into fulfilling their full potential and providing them with a positive transition into adult life.

We believe that the secret to mandating positive change in a persons life is by creating a sense of security and improving an individual’s emotional wellbeing. This is why we aim to focus on building a support system based on this philosophy.

Individually Tailored Care Packages

Every young person is unique, and one size does not fit all.

That’s why we provide a tailor made care plan for every young person that comes to us – the plan is developed by qualified staff, and with the young person at the centre of it.

We regularly review the plans we put in place, and make sure the young person has significant involvement and knows what is happening with their care at all times.

Our Services

Luminary Care Services provides exemplary care services for young people whether they are semi-independent, leaving care, lone asylum seeking or looked after.

We make sure our packages are tailored to the needs of each individual young person, to ensure their transition in to early adult life is seamless.

Support Service Users

We put in place individual support packages that identify a young persons aspirations, skills and comfort zones. We also educate service users on the prerequisites of living a normal life, and provide the correct training to enable them to live independently.

Supported Accomodation

Our home boasts modern, homely rooms for all our service users and is staffed 24 hours a day to ensure the safety and security of our residents; as well as providing a responsive service that can respond to our service users’ needs at any time of the day or night.
